Solid green

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. Is there such a thing as a solid green birds nest sansevieria? I have one quite small, it is solid green and the leaves are not as sturdy as I feel it should be.

Hello,

S. Hahnii Jade is a small Sans. with a very dark and uniform green without any striations. Mine is about 20 cm tall (8 inches).

Here's my S. Hahnii Jade, with 3 pups, about 6" tall. I started with one pup in 2014, and after a year potted in a 6" pot. It hasn't added any more pups. Now I know from experience, this one likes a tight shoe. :-)

This beautiful little Hahnii is known as 'Jade Dwarf' in the US. It propagates true from leaf cuttings and it's variegated form 'Jade Dwarf Marginated' produces 'Jade Dwarf'.

Both of these are very well grown, congrats! I especially like your decorative pot, Savant, but I'm am also partial to Ime's clay pot. They dry out too fast for my liking but I've always liked them.

The above plants look good. My limited experience with the solid green Hahnii is that they are very sturdy reliable growers. Laurel, could you give us more information about your plant? Why do you say the leaves are not as sturdy as they should be?
