They will survive! Trailers are rarely sold in greenhouses, people usually buy more familiar rosette type standards - so I doubt that all your 75 Noids are trailers. May be you did right by desuckering them. Photos?

No, only 3 were trailers...and I think it was only 1 plant that I started with and the other 2 trailers started from the one leaf last year. I don't have a picture but I wish I did. The shop I got them from is a higher end shop...maybe I just got lucky? My hobby started when me and my son did a science experiment to see if we could grow violets with leaves in a clear deli box. Well now I have a whole lot of them. Here is a pic of part of our experiment and a few of them when we started. I don't think these are the trailers though and yes the one in the pic is in a pot too big. It has been a learning process but having fun doing it. Great bonding with my teen son!

So far I do not see any trailers. And the one on the very bottom with lavender pink flowers still has a sucker or 2.

If you can make a close photo of a plant that you think is a trailer... Trailers have slightly dfferent leaves - standard rosette AVs come frome species Saintapaulia ionantha, trailers have more complex background. - so they do not have stiff leaves with thick stalks.

Experiment worked really well. You can take your mother leaves with babies and plant them in separate pots - they survive the transfer easily. By the way - each leaf can give you 10 babies - you probably can start dividing them in a month - YOU ARE NOT OBLIGED TO PLANT THEM ALL!. You son can take extras to school...
