So right now this is an empty area behind our other part of the living room ...there originally was a wall where the couch currently is that's facing the TV...so after taking that wall out we are now left with this open rectangular room!

I have an idea of a rug with two chairs and a round table being in this open space but idk. I also like a bookshelf idea, ladder, etc...

My theme is like Joanna Gaimes farmhouse style...I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction about what to put in the back space.

I'm not looking to change the wall color, curtains can change, chair rail cannot.

I would like furniture ideas and decor as well.
