Breadmaker that isn't non-stick

I have a parrot, and don't use any kind of non-stick cookware because parrots can die if it gets overheated. I would love to have a breadmaker, but can't find one that doesn't have a non-stick coating.

Any suggestions?

Hi cacocobird. The only bread maker that I know of that may meet your requirements is the Beem 5-in-1. It has a ceramic lined bowl instead of Teflon or other non-stick surfaces. If it is the PFOA's and the PTFE's that are concerning you, the ceramic lined bowl does not leech the toxins when heated. But as far as just a plain SS bowl, those are very, very tough to come by and the Beem in sold in the UK.

since I don't think breadmakers heat to more than ~350 would they be an issue with birds? I thought you had to go over 500 with teflon? I have no idea so don't quote me on this!

I used to think that too, until I read about quite a few parrots dying from lower temperatures. It's not worth it to me to risk it.
