    Antoinette Kerstner, those planks look like Plain Sawn White Oak with a site applied stain and finish.

    The floor is white oak and the stain is a blend of Minwax dark walnut and Jacobean.

    Does it come across as dark or medium tone in your opinion. I have same exact woods and struggling with stain color. My cabinets are medium would tone... cherry wood... color is called new Carmel by Brighton

    The floor reads dark brown. Not at all red like cherry
