Lennie, I'm in SouthEAST Michigan, bitterly cold yes, and I moved mine away from the window also. I just hope Lowes or HD don't have any new ones that I want. It's always so hard to get them to the car in this weather. Yours look very nice and I understand the happiness, especially now.

Pat, I was at my HD earlier this week, but the selection was terrible. I always worry about that hustle to the car when it's this cold. At least you don't get the lake effect - at times it goes on for days - and I'm not at the lakeshore.

My Jade Marginata is fussy about sun, heat and water. I can see the leaves start to droop when it wants more water. I keep it next to my computer all winter to avoid drafts. I put it on the back porch this summer, and finally got pups from it, but it seems to need more pampering than your regular hahnii.

DTE is my gas supplier. Keeping me warm today. Right now it's 15degrees F, and it's starting to snow again.

Stush, DTE is my electric supplier and fortunately we've not had a power outage in this below-freezing weather. I have my sans on a wood table that is positioned over a heater vent next to a West window. I'm scared to water them in this cold/cool house but the tall ones without support are drooping. Why couldn't I just stick to hostas?
