Cymbidium Enzan Forest 'Majolica' - a dwarf (or 'mini') orange cymbidium from Japan that grows about 20 to 24 inches tall and has profuse flowers 7 cm wide in December and January. No obvious scent to me, maybe something very subtle. Grown this one for a number of years and it never fails to please me. Divided it many times until I had about 10 of these last year and had to send most of those off to new homes. I still have 3 good sized pots, two of which I could stand to divide /again/ next summer.

I love this orchid. I throw it out in spring to live in the shade of a huge oak tree and leave it there until late autumn when I bring it back into my studio to bloom it's brains out. It withstands 100 degree temps and high humidity in Georgia with no trouble at all. I only water it in dry spells and I rarely feed it. Pests never phase it. Great orchid for a beginner to growing cymbidiums. You can't kill it unless you have tons of rain and you forget to move it so it won't rot. In the Deep South it can be planted outdoors year round but not /quite/ mild enough for me this close to the mountains.
