Wiring Question

I have 1x 16awg 2core (positive&negative) wiring going to my old puck lights that had cable twist connectors to the puck lights wiring that goes to power supply then to a outlet connected to a switch to turn it on and off. Will these puck lights work nicely with pre existing wire? Or is this a kit were it uses connectors?

Hello, this is not a puck light, in terms of what we would call a puck light. Usually a puck light would be installed under kitchen cabinets or in a cabinet for example. This item is a flush mount light fixture that would be installed on a ceiling. It is wired directly to 120v wires that would be connected to a switch. I hope that this explanation helps. If we are not on the same page please let us know. Thanks
