Purple hues and deep blue violets are tempered well with cool gray whites...malts, etc

Beautiful color combination. The idea is to use more than one shade of gray, better three, and at least 2 shades of purple. I would consider playing with texture and adding one more color by introducing some interesting accents in white, light orange or dusty green. Be careful with shades as it makes a huge difference. Keep it elegant - that is the key!

Brianna...are you suggesting the above pic with feet? It does not seem to go well with elegant.....kind of a weird pic to go anywhere.

It is in the houzz pictures. The designer said it is Benjamin Moore Classic Collection, Vintage Charm 1455. If you search purple bedrooms in houzz you will find these pics.

I'm guessing it is the same paint you were talking about. Maybe the lighting is different.

I love vintage charm ( I had it in one of my bedrooms) - rich purple that goes great with grey. With this purple I'd use crystal clear and/or brushed silver instead of the shiny version .
