Is there a minimum ceiling height recommendation?

My ceilings are about 7'8" high. I love this chandelier and would love to install it in my master bedroom, but I'm worried that even with adjusting the chain, the globe will be too low?

    The chain can be shorter by removing some links. The globe itself is about 16" in diameter. The minimum height of the light including the ceiling canopy will be a number between 18" and 20".
