This flooring is actually interlocking (floating) engineered wood planks (as it holds up to moisture better than solid hardwood) - species: hickory, with a medium variation rating. Hickory is a great species if you are looking for true brown hues with a lot of depth. You can also get something similar in premium vinyl as well as solid hardwood (in both floating or glue down types). The type of floor you choose depends your subfloor (concrete or wood) and how much moisture it will be subjected to. Any flooring retailer will be able to guide you in the right direction on that.

Are you trying to sort this out on your own? If I may make a friendly suggestion, if you select a place to purchase your cabinetry from, then they should assist you with design and color selections. There are semi custom and fully custom cabinet options out there, and you can order a cabinet door sample to take home! This makes selection so much easier!! Once you have your cabinet color and style dialed in, it is easier to select the rest of your color palette. ;)
