2007 Wolf Canopy Range Hood

I found a deal on a W series 2007 Wolf canopy style range hood still in the factory sealed box. Its been sitting in the warehouse. I checked the SN with Wolf and all is OK with that end of it. It is under warranty. Anyone know who manufactured the Wolf hoods in 2007? Is there anything that I should be aware of that would stop me from buying this? I am planning to get the 1200 cfm internal blower.

I think it was Independent. At least my bought in 2008 Pro Island Hood was made by them. The one I have is nicely made. Just be sure that parts that you might need to use with it (hood extension, decorative bars, blowers, etc., are still available).

kas, thanks much. I spoke to Wolf tech support today, and by the way, they were super helpful. Hood was made by Best. Full warranty. Blower is available. If this was new construction, I would do a remote blower, but I am going to have to go with the internal blower. I am taking a cue from you and wrapping the duct with the mats that you suggested a while back.
