I know trading is always fun and rewarding, but sometimes there's limited supplies to trade. So for those wanting to get turmeric rhizomes, you can sometimes buy a small berry-type box at Trader Joe's or loose rhizomes at farmer's markets. I assume there are other stores that carry them as well. Then google and learn how to grow your own from these rhizomes -- it's easy.

Are the tumeric rhizomes from trader joes organic? I've purchased some from giant and Wegmans (a high end trader joes like supermarket in the north east) and they never grow at all.
