My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

These cabinets are beautiful. Is there a lesser expensive version of them than poggenpohl?

    Those are nice cabinets!
They look similar to IKEA's NEXUS Brown-Black line.
Paired with sleek, bold stainless hardware and appliances to match, this kitchen will look great for a fraction of the price of your model.
I've attached an image from housetohome.co.uk of a kitchen using those cabinets for your reference.

This type of thermafused melamine is now available in the USA. It is made by KML. Check it out at http://www.uniboard.com/uniboard-opens-melamine-collection-to-kml-in-western-usa-now-available-nationwide and see if you can find what you like. I am doing my kitchen in a color almost identical to "lava teak."
