look at modern ideabooks what exactly do you need help with?

there are various levels of 'modern', need more definition.

well, the funny thing is that I really did not know what I was doing...... I thought I was searching feeds for ideas from folks who may have posted their experiences of building a house.

We had our first official meeting with our architect yesterday; Planning to build a "modern" house - boxy, lots of glass, steel, minimalistic. We have ideas of what we like in our ideabook. Primarily researching to learn what types of materials other people have used and would recommend; And, what advice people can give to avoid mistakes.
