Amish Paste was one I grew last year, along with Martino's Roma and San Marzano. As I recall, like Dawn said, my Amish Paste was late (a lot later than the San Marzano, for me), and didn't produce a whole lot for me. However, I will say that it was one that didn't get all diseased by late season like the others. It stayed in the garden until the freeze finally got it, and was still producing a few tomatoes. Mine was also a fairly small plant.

Mine performed exactly as Dawn discribed. They won't be invited back!

AND it had more trouble with blossom end rot than others.

I grew San Marzano several years ago, It made the best tasting sauce but I threw away most of the crop because of Blossom End Rot was so bad. I can't imagine any thing having more but if they are that bad then I guess I don't want any. I think I will try the Speckled Roman & Heidi.
