Where did the umbrellas come from?

umbrellas are shademaker but we had to modify the mounting brackets. We also added heavy duty sailing Pulleys in order for this piece to work flawless.

How much would a project like this cost?

Hello Ddavis, i am not at liberty to say for the protection of client privacy. But what i can say is, many of our projects vary so greatly. Reasons are some will just have flooring and others will have full blown all out rooftops with all the goodies. Typical just flooring jobs start at about 32 per sq ft. On average. And full all out rooftops range from 75 to 135 per square ft per sq ft. Depending how elaborate. This project was middle of the pack.

Is the steel structure transferring the load into the planters?

Yes exactly. the ones that are on the wall side sit on the parapet wall and the posts in the planters are attached to the bottom of the planters which then sit on a tile which is supported by pedestals. so the weight is distributed.
