I would suggest California shutters for the three windows..... By the way, your floor tiles are beautiful, where are they from?

I would recommend Roman blinds in a plain white linen to add a little softness and texture to your lovely space. Is the couch intended to function as a banquet? A circular wooden table (sort of rough hewn) and a bunch of pillows would be great additions to your space. I would add fabrics like grey or taupe chevron or herringbone pattern for some interest. You need a large piece of art work over the couch. i think an abstract - make it yourself using white, cream, beige, taupe and a small hit of a bright colour like red that you could use as an accent colour throughout your space. I think some wooden bowls on your counter would also make your kitchen feel warm and eclectic. It is already beautiful!

I just looked at your pictures again. Ignore my "red" suggestion as it looks like you already have some lovely blue accessories.

I would suggest that you put dark window blinds that would be consistent with the look of the cabinets and choose natural material to soften the look.

urban_girl - Thanks for your suggestions. The titles on the floor are by Del Conca - Their NAT line. The color is "Nebraska". I bought them locally, but also found them here for you:

As you can see, we layed them on an angle, but also decided to add some small strips of my glass/stone mosaics in between every few tiles to add another pretty visual element. They also match the mosaics on the back splash.

lbelmona - I love those shades (maybe for another room?) but, I think all of my dark cabinets will just be too overwhelmed and get lost with dark shades.

You need color and pattern, I would do roman shades in a great fabric that will bring those into the room.
