Does Amaranthus re-seed?

I grew some Amaranthus, Love Lies Bleeding, last year from seed. First year to get it to come up. It took a long time and finally I had beautiful long blooms. It was still blooming well into fall and before I could harvest any of the blooms to try to save seed, my husband had pulled it out (trying to be helpful!)

I'm wondering if perhaps some seeds fell on the ground and might come up on their own? I just saw some seeds for sale but the info didn't say if it was self-seeding, so, thought I'd ask.
Thanks!
