Playroom update for teens?

I would like to remove the built in cabinet and build a reclaimed wood wall with a flatscreen mounted center of wall. Small space. What other ideas? Lighting (currently a ceiling fan with light fixture) flooring, etc. the room has so many doors that take up space. What can I do instead?
