Speed Queen lemon?

Since my last posting my SQ washer now no longer spins all the water out of the load. I must run the load through another spin cycle to get the clothing dry enough to put in the dryer. I am really disappointed. It also leaks from the front door. The repair man says I could replace the motor and fix the leak, but the machine is old enough that I am better off getting a new machine. Is this true?

I do 10 loads of laundry a week. I thought I would get at least 10 years out of this machine, but this is the second repair job on it in less than a year.

So I guess my real question is ... is it time to get another machine?

I also posted this on the Appliance forum.
