Like the plate, but not on the floor. If you have a mantle, it would be nice there. If you have any shelving it would be nice there also.

Can you put it on a low table - along with the vase that goes well with it?

I agree that it doesn't work on the floor where you have it now. In the right grouping in the right place it might work well. It is a cool plate.

I like the plate also, just have no idea what to do with it....

No, put it up on a pedestal if you are in love with it. Not on the floor.

Great plate & stand! On a floating shelf, or mantle, or entry table, or even larger side table...lots of options, just not on the floor. Vase with branches will look great on it's own, but maybe back toward wall a bit more, or next to fireplace or t.v....also would look great in your dining room.

Hi Nancy, Quick note to say, "you are on the right track." I personally would love to see the yellow peeking in at the doorway throughout this room as well, as it would add some warmth tying in the beautiful golden flooring, and set the furniture and accessories off quite nicely. Wondering if you might consider floor to ceiling grommet style curtains (the color of green throw pillows) across the entire window wall for a finishing touch to add some softness and warmth to the room, maybe with a sheer curtain behind if wanting a bit more daytime privacy?
