I would rather you find a great home for this wonderful table. It may be an antique. It is German in style . My grandparents had one and passed it to my parents. We had wonderful holiday dinners around the table. I wish it had been kept in our family. If you have no emotional attachment then suggest you find an antique dealer. Good luck with your art room.

I think the dining table would look great in the kitchen. Take out the leaves, get the size right, and it would look fantastic! Your kitchen looks fine now, but it's a bit too matchy. You need some interest in there.

Agree completely with @lulu. If I learned anything from my decorator, it is to avoid the matchy matchy look.

Use the dining room table and chairs in the kitchen. They are beautiful pieces, much more so than your kitchen set which is OK but nothing special. The orange-brown of your dining room will look good with the teal of your counters - complementary colors which you will know as an artist.

I would also re-paint the kitchen walls so they don't match the counters. Maybe the same light neutral color as the hallway beside the kitchen, although it's hard to see on-screen if the color is right with your cabinets.
