Just wanted to get everyone's take on what is expected of neighbors that have trees. palms, etc that continue to drop debris into our pools ??

There are 4 Mexican palms that are 30 ft tall and have never had the trunks cleaned of the old frond husks and the stringy fibrous XXXX that continues to fall in our pool. My shark's filters are clogged with it, the skimmers are full of it and the pump basket and what makes it to the filter system too. The large husks have been swept into the skimmers and they then starve the pump for water, plus stress out the pump.

The neighbor and we have a descent relationship, but we're are not buddy-type friends. I have my own take on it, but just wanted to see if there are any strategies others have used that worked well? I do appreciate your feedback.
