You need a 54"x27" 1200 CFM hood with remote blower, and a heated MU system. Ventahood is good quality. Better by far than most of the cheepchinesecrap quality masquerading as a ''designer'' choices out there. This is definitely one area that you don't get what you won't pay for. Ya gotta pay the costs to be the boss.

Talk to your HVAC professional. The whole ventilation system will cost more than the range. By far. Island venting is always much more than wall venting. If you don't have an appropriate wall for the range, then you have chosen a range that is inappropriately scaled to your kitchen.

Best makes a good range hood. Vent a Hood is a good brand. We have installed Zephyr once and weren't all that impressed with it. Makes a lot of noise, but not sure it is very efficient.
