Hi, I was recently down in the Florida Keys and saw this amazing species. At first glance, it was a regular tall tree, with bark that resembled a white oak. But I noticed it didn't have any leaves. However, there were these "bunches" of tangled up cacti growth that were long, vine-like, not very spiky, and appeared to grow on the tree in a pattern of an orchid. After I climbed the tree to get cuttings I noticed the cacti-vines were the "leaves" of the tree and were like branches to it. After I got my cuttings I climbed down and examined the bark more to find a single row of spikes spiraling up it. Does anybody know what this is??
