The laughs on me, Tagan. Couldn't figure out why you didn't unroll more of the fabric so we could see it better. Then dawned on me (duh) that they sent you a long narrow piece for the sample. Lol.

It definitely looks terrific with the throw and the art work. A little harder to tell with the reupholstered dining chair seats but it might be just the contrast the chairs need to finalize the look of that wall. Maybe you should just get one for the bench (that's a sure thing) and then when it comes try it out on the chairs.

Hi, jayapple and thanks. Good idea of one for the bench and then try it in the dining. The dining room is where the art is, so I was hoping to add the pillows. Lol about only seeing a sample. It does make things a little harder;)

Hey Tagan...Honestly that is perfect for dinning room..would do 20" pillows with down fillers on both chairs...keep it special and only do this fabric in dining room...I really like just a solid navy for bench maybe an accent piping......with the beautiful throw:))

You could have a two sides pillow made with navy and print with accent piping in rust orange......

Tagan, if you're unsure of the bench... Buy the two for the dining room and when they arrive, use one to test to see how you like it on the bench.

I think a small one in the new fabric ...like the size of the one in front of the larger dark pillow would be kinda sweet... just my opinion though.

Yes print on one side solid dark navy on the other and pipe in accent color for bench pillow...I would do a long lumbar style....that way you have the best of both worlds and can flip it around if you want a change!

Zaz, those pillows on the bench are just ones that are the wrong size to use anywhere else. I am so confused that I don't know how you do it with all of your pillows. Lol. BTW, I love that art you are posting. The colors and style a lovely.

Hi tagan, the colors in the sample are perfect for the dining room! My concern about using it in the dining room and on the bench is that it no longer seems special. I would do one or the other. But that's just me. I think your two outcast pillows look terrific on the bench right now!

Maybe you can find something different for the bench(?), Home Interiors posted a few different patterns for you earlier... when you chose this fabric. Did you like any other fabrics?

Scones would look better in my opinion.

Tagan, when we moved in here, I had a living room chair done in the same fabric as my kitchen nook chair seats. I like the link between the two close to each other areas. It's now 12 years later and I'm still pleased with using that matching fabric to tie the two areas together. So, I kind of like the idea of the bench and the dining room having the same fabric.

You could have just ignored my comment if you didn't find it relative.

I think 2 lumbar pillows in the fun animal print for the dining room chairs would be what I would do. I would not put a pillow at all on the bench, but that is just me.

Two small lamps, each flanking the mirror, would be nice. As an alternative, you could have a wall-mounted sconce on each side of the mirror. I think the room is lovely. and the plaid/check curtains give it some "punch." I also like the rug, the wall color, and the white dining set.

Tagan, I think lumbars are a good idea. I like a pillow that doesn't need to be removed to sit down, but instead, makes the chair more comfortable when it stays in place.
