Dilemma: Entry way is the kitchen in home

I am considering purchasing this house. There is one problem-the entry way. Right now, when you walk into the house you are met with a wall. The hall is very long and narrow. I would like to rip out that wall and have an open floor plan. My only hesitation is that behind the wall is the kitchen. To me, it seems weird to walk into a home and see a kitchen first. I was hoping to find some pictures that may be out there so I can see what something like that would look like. Below is the floor plan for the house. I circled the living room and kitchen in blue.

Any thoughts on how to decorate this place?

I am having a little trouble reading the plan as I am not an expert. However, I recently ran across a renovation which opened a wall and the kitchen is now visible. I am not sure if it relates to your situation. Here it is:

If try to relocate front entry to adjacent wall so it opens into living room

Sorry about the copy of the floor plan. The house has two entry ways. The entry closest to the living room is the main one. It has a circular drive in front.

Did you buy it?

Generally speaking, if an entry way is small and you're immediately confronted with a wall, my thinking is to enlarge the entryway or open up the wall (depending upon whether or not it is a load bearing wall or what is on the other side).

I can’t figure out this drawing. Could you repost it so it can be read please. The notes that I can read are surely concerning. Do you have photos of outside of home to help us orient this entry. Thx.
