Should I glaze my white kitchen?

I have just replaced my countertops with beautiful Antique Brown granite.
I'm thinking about having my white cabinets glazed to bring out the dark brown of the granite in the recesses of the doors and drawers. I'm not seeing this as much on Houzz and surely do not want to spend the money on something that would date my kitchen. Is glazing still popular??

To me glazing is a bit passe' these days. Plus to try to re-do paint on existing cabs will not be cheap and may not look that great in the end. I would stick with the white cabs.

Yes, I do realize the result will depend on how good the painter is. Hmmmm, what to do????
