Yes, if that works for you, but don't you ever need that 36" spread for a platter or anything else? Do you ever buy a turkey for thanksgiving? Drawers are great but shelves can be pretty useful too.

I have 4 freezer drawers, which works fine as everything is frozen & it's easy to sort through, without the worry of spilling. All frig drawers, I don't think would work as well. But - seeing that you have another frig 20 ft away, it could work. You could experiment by sectioning off the equivalent of two drawers in your current refrigerator and then putting everything you can't fit in that space into the auxillary frig. Live with arrangement for a week or so & you'll have your answer.
