Wow - thanks for all the comments! Here is an actual picture. In response to some of the comments, we have a dining table where the club chairs would be in the thoughtful drawing, we don't have barstools since the sectional comes pretty close to the island, all the bedrooms are used thanks to the 2 kids, I had read about splitting the sectional but its tough because the chaise part is actually longer than the couch base, plus putting the couch facing the window would mean that the back of the couch would be the first thing you'd see upon walking into the apartment, which is why I thought a bench might work across from the couch instead of 2 club chairs.
