Perhaps move the bookshelves and add a credenza (cabinet ) under the TV. It will anchor the TV rather than having a floating appearance. Pretty green walls!

I like it as it is and don't feel like you nessacarily need anything else on the wall.

what a beautiful green wall! I like it as is. Maybe you could put a little console under the tv in a rich, natural wood. Or you could try a small ottoman or the ceramic garden stools.

Options that might be worth considering; If you can find a twin of your shelf unit, place one on either side of the TV, about 12" off the TV. You can add a bench or pair of ottomans below the TV. If you prefer wall-mounted art, use prints or photos which are no larger than the size of the screen. Select art that is restrained in color so the images appear as soft as your upholstery. Keep the frames simple but not plain black. Black with silver brushed finish will look good.

Not as formal as this but grouped together is an option.

I really appreciate all these design ideas, but you can see from this photo that it would be almost impossible for me to add depth such as putting bookshelves around the television or a credenza beneath any thicker than 6 inches because I don't have the square footage, as you can see it is open architecture with the dining area

I would def do a very shallow tv shelf-or (can't believe I'm saying this) a larger tv. Don't love the shelf with collectibles where it is. Your wall color is beautiful as is your furniture. I don't think the blue pillows relate to the rest of the space. Also I would want an end table by the couch with a good reading lamp.

Still appreciate all the ideas but I can see that photos are very difficult and unless I knew how to create a 360°. The etagere with the collectibles, (which is not fully appointed yet), I had handmade because I needed to keep things light and all the commercially available shelving units were square or rectangular blocks, and the apartment already has so many right angles and rectangular motifs, as you see I made this in an Eiffel shape and there's absolutely no where else in the apartment to put it. I see now that I could have designed something different for that spot where the etagere is now to hold my collectibles, but I just paid for it to be made and for a non-designer this is been an exhausting process! The tree in the opposite corner I have had for half of my life and I cannot part with it, I was hoping that it could help anchor the attached year, but it is very light in form.

The etagere unbalances the whole wall. You have to do something dramatic to stand up to such a large piece.

Change the pillow to something green to tie the wall color in.

Having your furniture placed this way almost creates a "tunnel" towards your TV. Your eye is directed to it.
Can you have the sofa face that wall and then a chair on either side?

I agree about previous comment on rearranging sofa to face the TV with chairs on either side of the coffee table. Of course the coffee table would have to be turned around too.. By rearranging the existing furniture I think you'll gain a few inches along that green wall so you can add the credenza under the TV to "anchor" it, and possibly another etagere on the right side.

Another idea for your wall

How about something like in our design attached here? Maybe adding shelves to the wall, or a TV credenza will help balance out your space.
