OMG! Now what does this mean!?!?

I know you guys are probably sick of me with my issues but you guys are the experts l don't know where else to turn. Please tell me what would cause the yellow spots.? It wasn't over watered. I don't see any pests but it appears to be tiny black spots on the back as well.it seems that every plant from this one person is drying on arrival and when I ask for her help She blames me and has yet to replace anything.this is the only one I have left. I can't let it die. I feel like I just gave my money away (& I have very little money) and these plants never had a chance.all were very dehydrated to start. I will stop rambling now... Sorry

Check for mites with a loupe.

Who did you get the plants from? Why do you keep buying if there is a problem?

Also it does appear to be over watered. You might need to unpot and cut away any dead roots.

And dont spend all your money on hoyas! lol

I was going to suggest mites as well. They suck the nutrients out of the leaves which can also leave them dehydrated.

Ok. To be the odd one out here, I just got a batch of mites, on one of my citrus, finally under control. With that large a concentration of "mites" on the back of leaves, there would be obvious webbing. The webbing will start on the back of the leaf, concentrating right where the petiole attaches to the leaf. Then the webbing will attach to the vine on the plant, right UNDER where the petiole attaches to the vine. Like this (pink):

Mite damage leaves scaly, rough, thin patches on the undersides of leaves. The patches are usually a lighter green than the leaf underside, but can be white. Unless you look at the spots with a magnifying glass, or see one move (you CAN see them move, even without a magnifying glass).

Tiny black spots are VERY common on the undersides of many hoyas, and NORMAL.

When did you receive the plants? Was the weather cold? That, to me, looks like cold damage, root rot, or a nutrient issue.

Regardless, check for bugs/mites.

Bridgett - take cuttings right away. It may be the only way to save some of your plant.

I just had to spray 15 of my citrus trees for mites today. Mites are extremely hard to control.

Did this happen soon after you got it, or did you have it a long while? I have found some varieties of hoyas are harder to keep alive also. Some require specific temperature range, watering schedule, and humidity levels. I can raise some very easy, others I have tried over and over but they still eventually die. Some just plain don't like my looks I think. Lol. It might just be that variety doesn't like your climate or home conditions somehow. Maybe light....or temperature.

I don't consider it a a waste as I enjoyed them while I had them, and liked the challenge of trying again, but after a few try's, I give up on that kind.

To save it, you can take cuttings now from the healthy parts, and try again.
