Digging up young Queen Palms and putting in pots.

I have three young Queen Palms around a mother tree that I would like to dig up and put in pots so I can sale them at my garden club plants sale in April. Their base diameters range from 2" to 9". I need to remove them asap as I have found that other young palms have been munch on by something. Gophers? Kangaroo Rats? I just need to know how big of pots should I put them in. Thanks.

How close to the mother plant are they? Are their roots growing through/amongst the mother plant's roots?
