I like the table. It would help to know something about your taste and the style of the rest of the house. Colors? Will children be using these chairs regularly?

An obvious match would be Williams Sonoma "Madeleine" chairs.... they're on sale now. Could always do 2 upholstered at each end of the table in addition. Love the table too :)

thanks all- I did consider the upholstered or a slipcovered parson type chair- I'm torn with the color choice- another chair i've considered is the ballard chinoiserie type chair, in the warm gray with a white cushion and possibly a little short skirted ruffled cover with a small black pattern or something to pull in the cool gray but also the black i the iron base - I saw that on pinterest somewhere and it polished the whole picture but didn't really overwhelm with a floor length slip cover - thought it would be good since its a kitchen OR thought possibly black chair with a light grey or white and gray cushion cover to bring in the black again- I don't have much black in the kitchen or in any of the house for that matter - all is very soft so this piece is a bit overwhelming for the space- i'll post kitchen photos - keep in mind the lighting and cabinets are all wrong- we just moved in and i got a great deal on the table or i would have waited since the style is very different than what is here.

So pretty! I love the chairs in your pucture. Are the cushions white or off white? It is hard to tell on the website when i researched them.

I like northpoint2's suggestions. I think the chairs should be minimal so that the table is the star. I think Parsons chairs would overwhelm the lines of the table.

Really like the chairs in northpoint's first and third pics. Also like Bailey's suggestion of Wms. Sonoma's Madeleine chair.
