Mid-century living room rug

We recently bought a 1967 mid-century home, polished the concrete floors and now need help choosing a rug. To the left you will see the entire wall is composed of sliding floor to ceiling windows which extend the length of this room and the next (living room and den/tv room). Rug color/type and how large? Should rug extend to the windows considering this is also the traffic pattern thru the spaces. Thanks...

9 years agoCheck out FLOR.com it is a modular carpet - beyond the old stick down "carpet squares" you may remember from the 70's. It is a quality product that is super easy to care for, and looks fantastic! When the rug our designer chose for our living room was on extended backorder, I went to FLOR and had a rug created for the room. (The first photo, below, is taken from our loft space).
The great thing about Flor is that you can create a carpet to suit the dimensions you need (we have a custom FLOR rug in our not quite square dining room) and in the colors you want as well!
You can create a rug yourself, on their website, or contact an in store designer and work with them to come up with something that will make your room look amazing!!
