Agree color change

I would consider matching the addition to the brick on the house. Another option could be to paint it black. I would also paint the garage doors the same colour. I'm not fond of most garage doors, they seem to take away from the charm of most homes. If you use the same colour as the brick, or use the black, you may want add shutters to the windows. From the picture it looks like a light by the garage door, it seems to be out of portion. You may want to in large it sometme in the future. I hope you will always enjoy your new home!

Also, look at the windows and see if you can match the grilles in the top half of your windows. You could do the barn red like the brick, or you could paint the brick. See how the light fixtures are not hung at the same height, nor do they match? Harmonize that - an electrician can move that box up or to the center of the span, and upsize the fixture.
