I bought these as engineered rough sawn oak skins that were attached to 3/4" plywood through The Vintage Wood Floor Co. in Costa Mesa (the plant is in Anaheim). They are much cheaper than solid beams! These beams at 5 " x 21' were about $220 each! They do have a seam due to the length though FYI. Good luck!

What a creative idea! They look great...I think the white ceiling is a good way for them to stand out. The room is so light and airy. Where did you find the rug?
