I think it looks fabulous! I LOVE the color! And I have to disagree with ingrid (sorry, ingrid) about the painting. I like the height you get with the current painting. If the wall space the sofa is on was much larger, I could see using something horizontal, but in this case, I your art is just right.

maybe because it reminds of the color of fire-and(controlled) fire is pretty fascinating..you can look look at it for hours in a row

Sprt, the stool (it's actually almost-beige) is a vintage piece from Etsy. I was determined to find a small round stool that could slide partly under the table -- took forever to find one!

We need to get our vintage sofa reupholstered and I love that kind of color. Our walls are greenish-gray (SW Halcyon Green), and orange looks great next to it. I have contacted a fabric dealer through my Nextdoor and need to go look at swatches.
