Ideas or 2 metal Rose Pillars

I have an extra large and large black metal rose pillar oblesks with finial tops. I was wondering if anyone had some creative ideas of
how I can incorporate use of all or parts of the pillars for plants or
other uses. They come part apart into a top and bottom half. They have
been sitting in my garage for 4 years taking up space. I have used one
for an actual rose but have no place on the property for this purpose
again. My style is english cottage. Thanks!

Pole beans, weave trailing nasturtiums through them, or put a hanging basket near the top filled with trailing plants. This is a slow forum, you might want to post this in the Annuals Forum.

I was thinking of removing the top and sitting a wide urn type planter between the bars. What do you think?

I LIKE the top..just put them in with your plants and not worry about growing anything on them..I bet they would look pretty..

The reason I have not used these is because 1. the one is gigantic and the 2. I have these all over the place. I grow roses and clematis on them. I'll just do as you suggest and find them a home. Maybe I need to dig those new gardens...

These are lovely!

If you put an urn in the lower half, could you put the upper half into the urn? I'm picturing the urn having an open top that is wider than the pillar...

The top part will not fit into the bottom half with the urn in place.
