What does the label say for the length of yarn per ball? It likely would have an "m" after the number, to represent meters. There are plenty of meters-to-feet calculators on the web. (One meter is equal to 3.28084 feet.)

I'm guessing, however, that each ball is probably in the vicinity of 100 yards, maybe slightly more.

The Jimmy Beans Wool website has a knitting calculator that is nifty and easy to use. For sweaters, you have a choice between cardigan and pullover. Then you have to choose the chest size and gauge, so you might want to knit a swatch to see what gauge you get. Click on the "calculate" button and you'll see the yardage that you'll need. BUT, the yardage given is for projects knit in stockinette stitch. If you use a stitch pattern or cables, etc., the finished project will require more yarn. The calculator is just to give you a rough estimate of the yardage you will need.

If you don't have enough for a sweater, I'm sure you have enough for a nice shawl.

You can do searches for specific items using specific weights of yarn, and you can even limit the search to only get patterns that use no more than the amount of yarn that you have.
