Thank you for taking the time. You are probably very busy so don't worry about contacting the builder, he is probably very busy too. My log cabin is very much like this one and I wanted to know what would be a complimentary counter and back splash with so much wood and so little light.

I would love to have Deb help me but I am in western Canada in Northern British Columbia. We live close to a small town of 1,500 so no design professionals around here!

Well, I used to live in London, Ontario 45 years ago and never visited BC. I hear it's beautiful. The counter top is concrete and the closets backsplash is mosaic tile.
