I would prefer stools on the other side. Is there enough overhang on the other side? I would get swivel stools.

No but I could I still put them there

You need leg room don't you?

Yes. Guess we have to put other way. Just seems backwards

We are putting brackets up . Those are not staying . It's sturdy .

It's very nice, but I agree that it might be backwards. You want your stools on the opposite side.

    Good idea!

Do u think cabinets would look better white or grey ?

Unless you are replacing the tops and splash, I don't think gray would work. Looks like you need cream cabs.

It is difficult to tell but are your kitchen counter tops the same granite as your new bar install? If not, I would start there. You might consider more of a white back splash to match the base of the bar. Providing the back splash and counter top stay, I would paint the cabinets in a mushroom/putty color. You are really going to enjoy that bar. What's done is done...I would have put the lip on the other side but since it is in the kitchen, that is where the bar stools need to go.

You realize the brackets will interfere with seating this counter could have been installed with invisible supports see if that would still be possible I would no want people sitting innthat kitchen so i would put the seating on the side out of the kitchen space sorry no really sure why there are 2 overhangs

It's sturdy enough ! Do you think they can take off and move the bigger part to outside . They just installed Thursday. Want seating on outside

If its just a big rectangle with rounded corners, maybe they could move it the other way.

They said it would be difficult

    Difficult but doable?

Rather be it a bit difficult now than live with it backwards for eternity and beyond;)

Contacter said he could move it over 3 inches . Do u think that would look better?

Do these stools look ok? Any other suggestions. Only putting 2

    A few more

Was going to put 2 more on other side .. these .. what do U think?

I would paint the stark white brick wall the same as the room wall color.

That countertop can be moved so that the larger overhang is on the correct size. Once they raise it there's no restriction on how much they can move it, except support. You might have to pay a bit to get the edges redone so that it's smooth where it needs to be. Do it now!

    They did redo it!

I actually like the ones with the high backs, so since they moved the slab over now you think there is still enough space for two more chairs in the kitchen? That seems like a win win since you doubled your seating area but will they be in the way if you add them to the kitchen side?

I think the one's with the tufted back are nice and they would be much more comfortable..btw,I'm glad you moved the counter:)
