Hosing the trees down

Since it's such a beautiful day in southern VA today, I decided to bring my trees out from the basement for fresh air and real sun. Is it still too cool to hose them down? I've only had an issue with mites this winter and would love to blast the leaves.

It's in the mid 70's today but will only be about 55 tomorrow:-(

I am still just under 60 F

Don't know where in Southern VA you are, but it is going to be really windy tonight here in North VA. And tomorrow night is supposed to be sub freezing. So, two things to be aware of.

High was 60F today and I did exactly that - hose the plants outside and flushed the soil well. Afterwards watered with a mild fertilizer. By the time we got the plants back inside it was 45F. Temps are dropping all the way to freezing tonight. One of the hose outlets is fed by by both hot and cold water with valves so that I can mix it such that water is at 70F or so. In winter the just the cold water is around 50F.
