Not to worry - you will be fine. And the begonia is fine too. Some canes have curls in their leaves and people love this odd quirk. Probably the most popular one that exhibits this is 'Cracklin' Rosie' (yep, Neil Diamond song). I've never seen it bloom but with the cool leaves, no one minds or cares. I have a feeling that may be yours but it seems on the small side. Probably putting some fresh potting mix on top will help. Don't water too heavy in winter. Give it ample light. In summer give it a bright spot outdoors (you can keep it on the edges of a shade tree as a couple hours of direct sun is usually good.

I am not a good grower of this plant probably because I have a heavy hand when it comes to watering. I am trying to mend my ways and whatever I have left of my C.R. is showing results.

Check eBay to begin with. Try Steve's Leaves, Taylor Greenhouses, Logee's, and Kartuz to see if they have it in stock as well. If you have a begonia society branch in your neck of the woods, go visit them for a meeting and see if any members have a piece to share with you. Ask your local nursery if they can get some of these plants for you. I would say come to a convention but conventions will usually have dozens of plants to choose from at their Friday night sale does not mean they will have every begonia at that convention. This year's convention is in San Antonio in early May.
