Are you looking to do a small cutting garden, or something for commercial sales? I'm starting a small personal one this year and have found a lot of websites that suggest layouts and certain plants for something of the scale I'm looking at.

I'm also starting a small cutting garden this year. Though I have plenty of experience with trees, shrubs, perennials, veggies and herbs, my experience with annuals is limited and with cutting gardens, nil. I'll have to take a look online for some of those websites Blueocean found.

During a mild spell I improved the soil in the bed, then that cold snap hit, but planting weather should be upon us soon; seeds are on hand and some have been winter sown. Since I'm planning to plant in blocks, I wrote the name, color and height of each plant on a sticky note, then moved them about on a sheet of paper until I was satisfied.

I hope we'll have some information to share going forward ... and a successful season!
