I'm out in Dallas TX and the weather has been pretty mild... swaying between the 50s and 70s already... winter is over. I chopped my old cannas down after the freeze and they are already growing back... FAST. However, there is a patch of cannas that never really got watered and they are VERY SLOWLY trying to sprout. However, I've installed irrigation over by them now(the fast growing ones always had water)... and wondering if I should start giving them some water now since they've never really had any. Is it too soon in the season to give them water, considering they never really had any?
