If that were my room I would sleep by the large window. so I kind of agree houssaon :) the bed is darling and I think the LOVE sign is very nice. the room needs some kind of easy chair.

I've never heard of a rule that the foot of the bed should face the door, unless you're talking about Feng Shu. I personally don't like blocking a window with furniture if it can be helped. I think the bed is fine where it is, perhaps pull it away from the wall a bit. Blue would be nice, try to pick a warm blue. A large rug with some accent colours and a dresser would help. Is there a light overhead? A fun fixture would be great . Ikea has some inexpensive ones

I hace a fan in the middle of the ciling, a light on top of the bed and the lamp. I can't put the bed perpendicular because the bathroom door is in front in the middle of the room

The bed is adorable but the way the footboard and headboard are flaired out it looks like it takes up more space. I don't like it squished against the wall. The blue will be perfect. What about the bed on a corner angle? Sounds a little weird but might work well in this space.

I would want to pull the bed away from the vertical window, and tuck it into that little nook. That way you could walk up to the window and it would feel more open. The bed seems a little crammed in the corner

If you want or need to keep the bed against the wall, I would suggest making it look like a daybed. Put large pillows on the bed against the wall. The pillows would be a great place to add the blue she likes. [houzz=]

I had it like daybed when she was younger. Now she wants a teen-elegant bedroom
