My (rented) apartment has thick granite countertops in the kitchen. However, the faucet leaks, and the maintenance guy says it will have to be replaced. Unfortunately, the only faucets he can order through their supplier are not designed for granite countertops, so the bolts are too short to hold the faucet assembly securely, so the faucet wobbles. Any suggestions on how to either fix the faucet that they can get so that it will fit properly on the granite countertop or for an inexpensive two-handle faucet we can buy and have maintenance install?
