Daffs - narcissus - are only deer resistant as well. Nothing is completely deer proof.......it just depends on how hungry they are and what else is available. But the lycoris are are also critter resistant for the same reason - they have a bitter taste and are poisonous if eaten in quantity, especially the bulbs themselves. A number of other bulbous plants have the same quality.

Resistant does not mean immune :-))
